Agatewood has successfully led the LEED certification on a wide variety of Commercial Interiors construction projects – below are a few.
We managed the LEED strategy and certification process for this high-tech focused law firm’s new office, which resulted in the nation’s first LEED Platinum Certification for a law firm. The primary goal of the client was to create an environment that attracted the best attorneys in the country and young lawyers are increasingly interested in sustainability. Nearly 90 percent of the space has daylight and views, creating an inviting and invigorating environment. As visible green features were desired, many of the interior finishes had an environmental component including recycled or salvaged materials and low VOC finishes. An outdoor deck was integral to the design and contained native, drought tolerant plant species. Other strategies included an environmental education program for employees, a green office tour and a green janitorial program.
We assisted PATH in designing their new headquarters as an effective green office that would exemplify PATH’s role as a leader in global health initiatives. The resulting office, located in the South Lake Union area in downtown Seattle, has been awarded LEED Gold certification and is a testament to how a committed team can create a truly green office.
